Angela Fetcho has been the cellist in the Dolce Amore String Quartet for the past seven years. Playing the cello in a string quartet is one of her most favorite ways to spend time performing music.
Angela is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam, The Crane School of Music, where she received her bachelor's degree in Music Education in 2006. While at the Crane School, she studied the cello with Dr. Mathias Wexler and orchestral conducting with Dr. Timothy Topelewski and Dr. Michael Schaff. She received a master’s degree in education from Hofstra University with a concentration in orchestral conducting while studying with Dr. David Ramael.
Angela is currently involved in her seventh year of teaching orchestra in the East Islip School District. In addition to her public school teaching career, Angela also maintains a large, private string studio in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
